Iago Hikaru

History: Iago is a demon from the Netherealm. Growing up in a scorching hot wasteland outside the walls of a city, hiding constantly from the guards, and battling Oni toughened him up against all the realm had to offer. Iago never knew his mother, who was murdered after sneaking into the city to steal some food, instead he was raised by his father and his older sisters. Iago never cared for his fathers abusive and brutal ways when it came to raising his son, while spoiling his daughters, Iago one day challenged his father to a duel where after his defeat his father tore out his eye and exiled from the family. After this Iago wandered for years until he happened upon a band of thieves who welcomed him with open arms. He began pirating and pillaging settlements in the wasteland and stealing from the city until the day he was caught and sentenced to two hundred years within the dungeons underneath the city. Iago was released and while being escorted to the city gates he escaped and made his way to a strange portal where he was transported here. Iago has no love for the planet but sees it as a vast improvement over the Netherealm, and decides that it would be in his best interests to try and protect it from destruction.
